Also helps you understand how brilliant those contestants are on the Great British Baking Show. I've taken many cooking classes in the past but this one was entirely different (much better!) beginning with the environment. At the intersection of Little Italy and Chinatown, in the middle of an artist's loft my hands were immersed in flour and dough as I learned, hands-on, the craft of baking baguette. "I was born in Florence, Italy. When I moved to New York in 1990 there was only one thing that I missed about Italy: tasty, crispy and aromatic freshly baked bread!

I began experimenting with recipes and baking my own bread at home. After many "flops" I perfected my own formula for an extremely easy, delicious and crispy baguette.

My baguette has since become famous and I have been teaching classes to share my technique and recipe (and reveal my long hidden secret!)"
